Rowland Fellow Alumna Mackenzie Mathis, along with her husband Alex Mathis, has been awarded the Eric Kandel Young Neuroscientists Prize for 2023. The Eric Kandel Young Neuroscientists Prize is awarded every two years to outstanding young scientists in brain research. Both Mackenzie and Alex Mathis are assistant professors at the Brain Mind Institute, School of Life Sciences at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne).
