At the Rowland, the Reece Lab studied transient pressure pulses and kinetic modeling in order to understand the fundamental concepts that drive catalytic reactions on surfaces. The goal of their lab was to break down chemical transformations into their elementary steps identifying the key components that drive the activity and selectivity of the catalyst.
