Rosy received her BA and Masters in biochemistry from the University of Oxford and earned her PhD in cell biology from the MRC Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology at University College London where she studied intracellular signaling between the adherens junction and the nucleus.

Rosy began her career as a journal editor, variously at a reviews journal (Trends in Cell Biology), an open-access medical journal (BMC Medicine), and then moved across the pond from the U.K. to Boston, MA, to join the premier research journal Cell from 2011 to 2014. She spent a brief time at the Office for Faculty Affairs at Harvard Medical School as a program director for faculty promotions and then joined the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard to serve as the Associate Director for Scientific Communications and Outreach from 2015 to 2024. Rosy is thrilled to be synthesizing all these experiences to support Rowland Institute Fellows and their lab members in realizing their research goals, and to partner with the Faculty Director, Executive Director, and Associate Director for Science, in overseeing the annual recruitment process for new Fellows.
